My first sighting of the EX30 EV. Approaching from the rear, I thought it was a Polestar, with a tail light design like the Polestar 2. And it’s small: compared to the XC40 I’m leasing, I’d guess it’s about a foot shorter and 3-4 inches lower. Americans are not going to like that lack of rear seat room.

One of the smallest street cars I’ve seen anywhere. Its slab front is reminiscent of an Isetta. The body appeared to be unpainted plastic, with rear-hinged doors.
The “Auto e Moto d’Epoca” 4-day car show starts tomorrow!
Hi Richard,
By Italian rules this is not actually an automobile. To drive a car in Italy requires a “B” license at minimum, at an age minimum of 18.
The Ami is considered as a “quadrociclo leggero” (light quadricycle) classified legally as a Moped. It requires simply an AM license which means a 14-year-old kid can technically drive these things on the street!!! 😱
it can reach speeds of up to about 45 km/hr (approx 30 mph) it’s basically suited to puttering around a city.
I have to say I wonder a bit about safety issues when I see these on the road thinking how young a person could be behind the wheel.
